Craig Gottleib
Mr. Gottleib joined the Philadelphia Law Department in 2002 and is now a Senior Attorney in the Appeals and Legislation Unit. He briefs and argues civil rights appeals before the Third Circuit, the Third Circuit Mediator, and the Pennsylvania appellate courts. He also works closely with the trial attorneys in the Philadelphia Civil Rights Unit, both in handling litigation and in evaluating claims for settlement, and counsels the Philadelphia Mayor and City Council on legislative matters.
Jeffrey M. Scott
Mr. Scott is a partner in Archer & Greiner’s Litigation Department. Prior to joining the firm, he spent 14 years with the City of Philadelphia, most recently as a Divisional Deputy City Solicitor in the Civil Rights Unit. During his tenure with the Law Department, Mr. Scott defended hundreds of Federal Civil Rights cases involving police pursuits, allegations of false arrest, excessive force, state-created danger claims, failure to protect claims and municipal liability.
John P. Gonzales
Mr. Gonzales is a shareholder in the King of Prussia office of Marshall, Dennehey, Warner, Coleman & Goggin. Mr. Gonzales practices in the areas of civil rights, municipal liability, school claims, and employment law. John has represented police officers and public officials in state and federal court in all aspects of civil rights litigation including claims involving use of force, wrongful arrest and land use.
